I had an amazing privilege of photographing a wedding at the Mansion at Judges Hill with the MOST beautiful flowers I’ve maybe ever seen at a wedding, along with the gorgeous bride. I thought part of the sweetest things at this wedding was how obvious it was that Mel has been an extraordinary aunt to her nieces. They gushed over her, cried at how beautiful she was, and as I watched her share her cake cutting experience with these sweet little girls, you could tell there was a bond there not ever to be broken. She made me think a lot of my nieces and nephews I can’t see b/c they live far away and the ones so close that we still never see. New Years Resolution number 1 next year. Be a better Aunt.
